Ingredients of Modern Moi moi

  1. Prepare 3 cups of moi moi batter.
  2. You need 4 tablespoon of palm oil.
  3. Prepare 4 of eggs.
  4. Prepare 1/2 of green bell pepper.
  5. You need 1/2 of red bell pepper.
  6. Prepare of Round tin cans(or small small rubber).
  7. Prepare of Chilli powder.
  8. Prepare of Palm oil.

  10. You need 1/2 of green bell pepper sliced.
  11. You need 1/2 of red bell pepper sliced.
  12. It's 1 of onion sliced.
  13. You need 4 of scotch bonnet crushed.
  14. You need 1 of seasoning cube.
  15. Prepare 1 pinch of salt.
  16. You need 1 pinch of curry.
  17. Prepare 1 pinch of thyme.
  18. You need 1 pinch of garam masala.
  19. It's 2 of tbslpn palm oil.
  20. Prepare 1/2 sachet of onga.

Modern Moi moi step by step

  1. (moi moi batter u soak nd peeled ur beans either red or white beans,aftr that wsh nd add more water allow it to sit for 30mins,then add shambo nd scotch with some onions nd blend till smooth batter,beat the batter using whisker and add some warm water add salt,ajino,thymend curry stir it in,(note moi moi hate being tempered with,with things like diff spices en all) and that is it)now separate yolk from egg whites as show here,greased ur silver bowls or rubber wit enuf oil(i use 2 tablespoon each.
  2. Pour your batter,dont fill it up leave enough space for egg mix,now place your egg yolks carefully at the centre and cover with remaining batter(i use 1 nd1/2 cup each).
  3. In a big pot add water nd allow,place a cooking rack or pot cover like i did๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ place them each on top of the cover and cover the pot allow it to boil/steam for good 15-20mins,till then add your chopped red &green bell pepper into your egg white nd whisk.
  4. After 20mins,bring out the moi moi bowls,and add your egg white mix(i used 2 at first and t wasnt enuf so i add 2 more egg white making 4) take them back nd steam them for another 10mins nd boom u have it.
  5. For your suace add palm oil into your pan,then add onion saute for few secs,then add crushed scotch bonnet.
  6. After like 2 mins of stir frying,and the remaining onion nd veggies,add thyme.
  7. Curry and garam masala,add onga and your seasoning cube,stir fry till veggies are soft.
  8. Turn off heat,and gently flip your moimoi,serve with sauce or yaji da manja(palmoil).
  9. And boom๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜enjoy with fam and frnds.
